Mickey’s Place

Mickey’s Place first opened its doors in 1991 on Main Street in Cooperstown, N.Y and is named after the famous Mickey Mantle, who was a friend of one of the original two partners in the business. Started initially as a memorabilia shop it specialized in cards and autographed products. In 1992, following a move to its present site at 74 Main Street, it greatly expanded its product lines. Located diagonally across the street from The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum the Mickey’s Place building retains its charm on Main Street in Cooperstown. Today Mickey’s Place boasts a large selection of the “Baseball cards your mother threw away”, autographed photos and baseballs, current and vintage clothing and the ability to personalize a “Louisville Slugger” bat while you wait. Clearly Mickey’s Place has gained its fame as being the true heavy hitter in fitted baseball caps. We carry over 500 different fitted caps ranging from Major League, Minor League, College, Cooperstown Collection and Negro League. We also go as far as extending our fitted cap selection to cover the Caribbean and World Classic Series. In addition to these authentic caps we also carry multiple variations of current and historic style caps.
